D7017 to visit SPM Open day and news on D832. 7/2/16 by Matt Cambourne. We are very pleased to report that it is likely Hymek D7017 will be visiting the St Philips Marsh open day, in Bristol on Monday 2nd May 2016. Great Western Railway are running the day in aid of charity which will showcase a large variety of traction past and present as well as providing an insight into this important depot. In other news, following on from our December press release,  it has now been confirmed that D832 will be returning to its home on the East Lancs Railway after the June Diesel Gala. We will be sad to see the loco leave but wish it and the Bury Hydraulic Group all the best. There is an opportunity still to ride on the loco in 2016 at WSR- On Saturday 30th April where it will be working the Green diesel diagram and will make its finale over the weekend of the 10th-12th June at the diesel gala.
